Liberia

Deacon Dan Boeger has written several Rotary International humanitarian grants that enable the drilling of clean water wells together with several Rotary Clubs and our Liberian partners who are members of the Pele tribal system. These grants provide a drilling rig, truck, and supplies as well as training for a team of Liberian well-drillers. Several wells have been drilled that provided much needed water for human needs and greatly improved sanitation especially at schools and clinics. Deacon Dan and two Episcopalians from other congregations traveled to Liberia to complete the needed training. Several older wells have been refurbished by the newly trained team so that they can again provide clean water.
